If the first Boardroom label release was a spooky Halloween take on dance music, this 2nd one is an alternate Christmas of apocalyptic proportions. It takes a Prophecy of rampant commercialism and economic doom as a call to move your body. Is it the end of the Mayan calendar that will bring Contact with aliens? Who knows, but this has the Master Plan.

James Moss & Steven Boardman fuse subversive ideas with consuming rhythms, to create escapist tracks that penetrate directly to the heart of the dance floor. From stripped down funked up grooves, through to searing minimal bombs, these two escapologists always like to throw a twist of techno sauce into the mix. Their manifesto has rocked the foundations of some of the world’s most secure institutions, including; Berlin’s ‘Panorama Bar’ & London’s ‘Fabric’, amongst others. Previous liberations include ‘The Legacy’ & ‘The Last Frontier’, on the Rotters Golf Club as well as a remix for the ‘Two Lone Swordsmen’.

Break free from formulaic constraint and the swamp of mediocrity – ESCape!

A1 The Prophecy: Post-millennial techno prophet delivers the word in this anthemic attack of the system.  Watch the dancefloor explode when the kick drops…

B1 Contact: Funky, twitching groove that pumps along to an elastic synth and bubbling melodies.  A cool customer that refuses to relent.

B2  Master Plan: Brooding Teutonic throbber with analogue synths aplenty in this creeping electronic monster.

Hand-printed 12” vinyl will be strictly limited (check website shop), with different digital mixes released later (free with vinyl purchases).
